BRUSH STRIPS AND BRUSH SEALS

Our range of brush strips is suitable for various applications to be found in a number of different sectors such as: INDUSTRY, BUILDING, AGRI-FOOD, ENVIRONMENT.

Their greatest advantage is maximum continuous density in a minimum space.

Their various applications: dimensional, filling, fixing.

Some examples:

Seals: Air, dust, powder, light, protection from the splashing of hot or cold liquids, cable ducts, insect proofing.

Brushes: cleaning, vacuuming, brakes, brushing, static electricity, antistatic.

Double brush strips often include metal wire (impossible to pull out). They can be drilled, welded, bent or bored.

Single straight brush:

Description :

The brush strip is a strip of steel (1) usually made of electrogalvanized or stainless steel (sometimes brass or aluminium), in the shape of a U into which a binding wire (2) of the same kind is introduced. The filaments (3) are inserted between these two elements. The strip brush is obtained after crimping together. For easier fixing, the brush is slid into a holder or supportive carrier (H, F, Y)

(1) strip (2) binding wire (3) filaments

Two important dimensions:

The overall dimension (HT) is the total height of the brush strip either with or without the holder. This custom-made dimension varies, depending on the length (S) of the filaments (trim). The length of certain filaments may exceed one metre…

Without holder
With holder
The various shapes of the aluminium profiles (H, F, Y) are suitable for a variety of applications by combining the many different trim lengths.

Standard dimensions

(1, 2 or 3 metres - fill material in black PP, straight, with or without supportive carrier, rough or stamped).

Dimensions and fill material on request:

Strip brushes and supportive carriers can be made to your own specification.
SUPPORTIVE CARRIER: stainless steel, copper, aluminium, etc. FILL MATERIAL: any fill material.
HOLDER: aluminium, steel, stainless steel, fibreglass, etc. SHAPE: strips are flexible, malleable and can be adapted to meet your specific needs.

Double notch strip

Description :

Double notch strip brushes are made of two strips of electrogalvanized or stainless steel (A and B). The larger of the two (B) has notches (C) that are long enough to hold the narrower one (A) when the fill material is inserted. The two parts are then folded to bring the fill material together.

Use:

With their dense metal wire, these two models are mainly used in industry. Their design makes them resistant to pulling out, twisting, crushing, bending and of course temperature.

Supportive carrier:

Their special design offers a number of different possibilities for fixing to a supportive carrier.

  • In a traditional slide made of sheet metal or machined steel block
  • Spot welding
  • Bored, riveted or screwed
