CIRCULAR BRUSHES

Specifically designed for work from deburring to finishing. For a high quality professional job, resistant to wear, the following points are studied in detail: the nature and diameter of the wire and its trim, as well as brush balance. They can be adapted to any traditional machine.

  Use

The diagram opposite shows the power required depending on the different brush sizes. The condition is that the contact pressure remains light since it is only the tip of the wire that does the brushing (see diagram). A stronger contact pressure would not improve the result in any way, on the contrary it reduces the brush life. Furthermore the power would have to be increased. The curves of the diagram are given as reference only for the power to be developed. The power indications refer to a brush with a width of 25 mm.

Rotation speed

Maximum rotation speeds given in the table are safety speeds under which there are no risks attached to their use. This speed should never be exceeded. In most cases a slower speed will be sufficient to obtain an optimal result.

Remedies in the event of incorrect brushing

  • Too strong effect
-Reduce the rotation speed by choosing a brush with a smaller diameter or reduce the power
    - Use a brush with longer fill material
    - Use a brush with finer fill material
  • Too weak effect
    - Increase the rotation speed by choosing a brush with a larger diameter or in increasing the speed
    - Use a brush with shorter fill material
    - Use a brush with thicker fill material

  • The brush causes blistering
    - Use a brush with softer fill material
    - Check the brush and the position of the part
    - Use a wider brush
    - Use a brush with a larger diameter of the fill material
